Lakeside Summer

With summer coming to an official end today, I've been reflecting on this memorable season. Many of my favorite memories are from our time spent at Lake Tahoe, at the little house we rent with friends. The weekends up there are simple. There are hikes, mountain bike rides and paddle boarding on the lake, followed by afternoon wine on the beach, appetizers and games of horse shoe back at house, bbq dinners under the stars, ending the night sipping whiskey and listening to tunes around the fire pit. These images capture the essence of those summer days spent in the mountains and off the grid.
