Restoration Hardware STONEWASHED BELGIAN LINEN BEDDING COLLECTION in Dune

I've been using the same bedspread for at least 10 years. I bought it when I was studying in Italy, and loved the warm floral pattern on one side, and the thin pink pin stripes on the other. It's served me well, and always made my bed feel cozy and inviting. But ten years later its a bit worse for wear, and despite my boyfriend being a good sport about sleeping under a pink striped comforter for the last year, I figured it was time for an upgrade.

While perusing Pinterest and home blogs, beautiful neutral linens started catching my eye. I liked the understated elegance of the neutral palette, the warm texture of actual linen, and how nice they look with crisp white sheets (though that's more of a pipe dream). As I started to shop a little more seriously for a new duvet I stumbled across this collection at Restoration Hardware. It was exactly what I was looking for. I pulled the trigger this weekend and now have the beautiful Stonewashed Belgian Linen Duvet in Dune (shown in the bottom photo). It looks great with our white quilt and pillow shams, and is so soft and cozy that we immediately decided it was time for a nap. Is it too early for bed again?
